DocketServe field guide

A generated document still needs review.

The return workflow should preserve what actually happened and make questions easy to resolve. Software output is not a substitute for the server’s accurate account or appropriate legal review.

Check the underlying record

Match the recipient, address, documents and stated outcome to the relevant event. Distinguish completed service from an unsuccessful attempt or nonservice closeout.

Resolve discrepancies before use

Identify factual corrections and confirm which version is final. Do not assume that an electronic signature or a verification link makes every statement correct.

Hand off the right packet

Confirm that the intended client receives the reviewed document and knows how to raise a concern. Keep the invoice and case reference aligned with the same matter.

Paperwork with less retyping

Analyze & Prefill reads text PDFs and uses on-device OCR for scanned pages. Review and correct the suggested details before submission. English scanned-page reading supports up to 25 scanned pages per analysis. Difficult scans may need manual entry.

Received Date fills automatically. Plaintiff and service-target details are entered once in the target section. The original documents remain part of the job.
