Collection complaint
Initial process directed to an individual debtor or business defendant.
FLORIDA COLLECTIONS PROCESS SERVICE
Collection matters may involve an individual debtor, a business defendant, an employer, a bank or another garnishee. DocketServe keeps each service request tied to the correct party, issued papers, address and return.
Current public coverage includes Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orange, Osceola, Polk and Hillsborough Counties. Each request is reviewed for address, documents, timing and available capacity.
WHAT THIS SERVICE INVOLVES
An initial debt action may begin with a summons and complaint directed to an individual or business. Post-judgment work can involve separately issued process directed to an employer, bank or other garnishee. Those are different service targets and should be submitted as separate, clearly identified requests.
A workplace address can be useful when lawful service there is appropriate, but the server should receive the actual issued papers and the recipient information—not a request to investigate debt, negotiate payment or discuss the claim.
COMMON REQUESTS
Initial process directed to an individual debtor or business defendant.
Service on a company, registered agent or other person authorized to receive process.
Issued writs and related papers directed to an employer, bank or other garnishee.
Other court-issued process that the requesting party has determined requires service.
BEFORE DISPATCH
MATTER-SPECIFIC CONSIDERATIONS
Florida Chapter 77 contains separate garnishment procedures. For example, § 77.04 specifies information in the writ and a response period for the garnishee. Because the garnishee is often a different party from the judgment debtor, the service request should make that role unmistakable.
DocketServe does not advise whether garnishment is available, whether exemptions apply, or what notices counsel must send. The platform handles accepted service requests based on the issued process and instructions supplied.
COVERAGE & PRICING
DocketServe currently publishes local coverage across seven Florida counties. The service address—not the courthouse or law-firm address—determines which local coverage page is relevant.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Yes, DocketServe can evaluate business-defendant service within current coverage. Provide the exact entity name, issued papers and registered-agent or other service information your legal team has confirmed.
DocketServe can evaluate garnishment-service requests when the writ and required accompanying papers have been issued and the garnishee information is provided.
No. The field assignment is service of the supplied papers. Debt negotiation, legal advice and collection communications are outside the process-server role.
