Timing and known deadlineProvide the requested timing and any known court date, hearing date or urgency. The responsible legal party remains responsible for calculating legal deadlines.
Access and safety informationInclude known gate instructions, building access, workplace context or other factual information that may affect an attempt.
Multiple recipients separatedCreate clear recipient-level instructions so one person's attempts, outcome and return are not confused with another's.

FAQ

Before you submit the job.

What information does a process server need?

At minimum, a workable request usually needs the correct recipient, service address, service documents and timing. Additional facts can matter depending on the recipient, property and papers.

Should I email sensitive case documents before ordering?

Use the DocketServe app for the service request and documents rather than sending case papers through the general marketing Contact form.

What if I have more than one defendant or recipient?

Keep each service target clear. Separate addresses, instructions and outcomes reduce the risk of mixing field records or returns.

Can DocketServe tell me which papers legally must be served?

No. DocketServe manages the operational service workflow. Questions about legal requirements, deadlines or strategy should be confirmed with the court or a qualified attorney.
