LOCAL MATTERS / STUART
A county-seat address does not identify the party.
For a Stuart civil claim, distinguish court business from the actual individual or company to be served. Supply the issued summons, named defendant and full unit or suite, with counsel’s instructions for any representative capacity and case-management attachments.
How does a Stuart service request connect to the Martin County case?
The Martin Clerk offers electronic issuance of attorney-filed civil summons. An uploaded proposed summons is not the issued instrument: obtain the issued version and complete accompanying packet before dispatch. Check the assigned judge’s current case-management directions for additional documents to serve. The service address identifies the field location; it does not by itself establish court venue. Include the case number, issued papers and counsel’s case-specific directions in the secure request.
Which papers belong in the service request?
For a lawsuit, include the issued summons and accompanying pleadings. For a witness or records request, identify the issued subpoena, recipient and appearance or production details. For a family petition, check the applicable family rules. Counsel should confirm the method, required attachments and any witness tender.
